What can cause frequent disconnects?

 

The number one cause is poor signal to noise ratio on your phone line. Dial a single digit (anything but O) and listen closely for any unusual squeals, clicks, or other strange noise. The line should be completely silent until it times out and gives you the recording. Try this several times throughout the day. If you do hear noises, call you phone service provider (local) and they'll fix it free of charge.

 

Dont mention that this is a computer connection problem. They will just blow you off.
