Modem or not?

    In filling out a Dell order form for a new pc, I see that a Dell v92 Data/Fax modem is on the list. Since I'm using broadband with its own router, do I need the internal Dell one as well? Thank you.

    It won't be any cheaper if you ask them to leave it out. Just don't use it and it won't create any problems.

    Useful to have dialup as a backup for which you will need the modem. You can always disable it in Device Manager until required.
