    Hello,

I have installed Windows Vista Ultimate on a seperate hard drive, now when I start the computer I have an option to start either "Earlier version of windows" or "windows vista ".
Till here everything is ok but if I change the bios to boot computer from the drive where vista is installed I get NTLDR is missing cntrl+alt+del to restart.

Is there a way around this problem since I would like to remove the other hard drive where I have xp installed and leave only the drive where vista is intalled and therefor I will not be able to boot Vista.

    Regards,

    Mario

Problem is that Vista's boot files are installed on the 1st drive.

What you can try (dunno if that'll work) is to remove the XP drive, and boot of the Vista DVD. After the screen where to select language & keyboard options, the Install screen will appear. At the bottom click Repair Your Computer. If your Vista installation can be found, you'll be presented with the repair options. Choose Startup repair.
