I have acquired a 7-CD Microtest DiscPort Tower from a friend. I need some information on how to hook this equipment up to my Windows XP-based system so I can use the 7-cds for various reasons. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :p Thanks in advance....

When you simply connect the tower and boot XP, what hardware does it see?

The tower is old enough that I'm not sure how much luck you will have locating the software / drivers for it.

Well, that's part of my dilemma Newt. On the back of the equipment there is what appears to be a BNC and a Cat 5 connector, plus the usual power connectors. From all that I'm presuming this must be placed on a network?? :(

From what I rememebr the DiscPort was a network CD server that was managed via a web interface

You'll need to find out the IP address that your friend had assigned to the Discport in order that you can manage it
