Microsoft Explorer Tool bars

I am an IE 6.0 user. I have somehow lost the tool bars at the top ( The bar with File edit view favorites, the address bar, and the entire bar with the forward and back buttons. They don't appear to be minimized anywhere either. Can someone help?

Hit your F11 keyboard key. If bar reappears, right click it and make sure all the applicable "view" bars are checked.

Than hit the menubar>help>contents and index>and from the search tab type in "toolbar ". These toolbars are customizeable in every form, from size, visbility to positioning. They are dragNdrop and are often misplaced or unchecked which makes them appear to vanish. You may wish to become familiar with the descriptions of these "customizations" because what can appear to be an error may be a "user preference setting" that was enabled unknowing.

This was the fix. I appreciate the help. Once I got the full screen, I was able to find the bars. I did have to do some rearranging, but once I found the bars, the rest was easy. Thanks again. This site is a great help.
