mcafee errors

I can't seem to get any knowledgeable assistance from Mcafee and thought you guys may have an answer.

I tried to stop mcafee from loading on startup and obviously destroyed something. Now, I can't get it to load and get the error "Internal Error 2735. Stop AVSyncManager.

I can't remember the site that I downloaded the 5.21.1000 versison of McAfee or I would go there and re-download. I have to say it has been working fine until I attempted to stop the startup process.

Does anyone have any solution to my problem?

 

Sorry, I don't have a solution for Macafee - except perhaps to get Norton instead. I share your experience of how unhelpful Macafee are. I was told to manually unload my Firewall in order to surf the net - which rather defeats the purpose.

I'm with BillMcd. I bought McAfee VirusScan\Firewall installed it and PRESTO problems galore. I went to the web sight and all I could find was how to do a manual uninstall. I did the manual uninstall and reinstalled again, same thing, same problems. I contacted the online tech. support with no help. So after only having McAfee for one month I tried to return it to the place of purchase but was told I couldn't return it, how ever the clerk showed me Norton SystemWorks which had a $45.00 cnd. rebate for McAfee users. This almost gave me back what I paid for McAfee. I have installed Norton SystemWorks, and have had no problems. Not only that, but 3 viruses stopped and several attacks have been stopped. I have used McAfee before and never had results like this.

I had problems ever since with my computer (not sure if they are related to McAfee) but started about the same time, the only fix was to format the HDD and reinstall Windows.
