I am trying to help a friend. His wife somehow lost the IE display. It appears to work, shows up in the task bar at the bottom of the screen. But he is unable to get the display. As he describes it it sounds like she somehow moved it off the right side of the screen. When he moves the cursor to the righ or bottom of the screen it keeps moving unlike the top or left where it stops at the edge of the screen. When right clicking the icon in the toolbar it does not give an option to maximize just minimize and restore? Any ideas on this and how maybe to get the screen back?

    Hello roberdwhite,

Hovering the tool tip at the right edge of the screen, does the tool tip turn into a horizontal arrow?

If so, drag the tool tip to the left towards the center of the screen. If the page is indeed off to the right side, it should grab enough of the screen to expand it further.

If you do succeed in grabing it, double click on the blue bar at the top of the page. That should get you the min/max control back.

    Regards - Charles

Right click on the IE button in the taskbar. If "move" is in bold letters, click on it and then (without touching or doing anything else) use the approriate arrow key on the keyboard to move it the direction you want.
