lost cd key

    I have formated my computer and was reinstalling again, when I found out that the cdkey (orange sticker) on the plastic sleeve of my original windows XP pro was not the good. This must have happened when on another occasion I have taken my computer to a technicion for repair and gave him all driver discs I had and the Original windows Cd. This person is untracable. Is there a way how to retreive the cdkey from the Original cd itself. :(

    Nope. The key isn't on the cd anywhere. If you key is a "retail" key, Microsoft might be able to fix you up with a new cd.
