Ahhhh.. it's good to be back !!!!!

Ok, lets see if I can get some good input. I'm looking at a new system. The 2 systems are as follows:
    System #1
ECS K7 ama mb, XP 1600, 256mb of DDR Ram, 32mb AGP video, 32 bit sound, 56k Lucent Modem, 12x DVD. I'll be using my existing Maxtor 30 gig/7200 hdd and Memorex 4224 CDRW.

    System #2
Asus A7V266-E mb, Xp 1600, 256 mb DDR Ram, 64mb Gforce 2 video, 32 bit sound, 56k Lucent modem, 12x DVD. Again using the hard drive and CDRW.

Basically, the only difference is the motherboard. I don't do games, just basic net/email, and some photo editing and general computing.

Anyone have any suggestions on which one to go with?
Prices for the units are gonna be $438 for system 1, and $499 for system 2. I'm not really concerned about price, but would rather save money if possible, but I have found very limited input on the ECS boards.
    Any input is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

Both boards seem to be on the AMD Approved list. See: http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_869_1039^2338,00.html

I just put together a 1900 XP with a MSI K7T266 which uses the new Via KT266A Chip set. A friend of mine talked me into trying a MSI board after my Abit KG7Lite arived DOA. I was like "MSI, you have got to be kidding me!" Let me tell ya I was very surprised with this board. SWEET!! 1st impression was excellent. Packaging was very high quality. The Manual was one of the best I have ever seen. It wasn't just a sorry langauge interpretation, this thig was very detailed and spelled out every feature. Also It has a nice windows based gui tool to tweak voltages and clock speeds if you are brave enough.
