Go to Start>Run. Type in "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes, with the space after "control ").

In the resulting window, uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer. "

MAKE SURE your account has administrator status by clicking on your account, then Properties, then the Group Membership tab. MAKE SURE that "Other" is checked and MAKE SURE "Administrators" is showing in that field. Click OK. If you miss this step and your account isn't an administrator account, there will be problems.

Click OK again and you should be asked for a password for your account. Either enter one or leave it blank...I recommend entering one and I highly recommend not forgetting it. ;)

Next time you boot up, it should boot straight into your account.

    another way is to--
click on start, control pannel, users, change the way users log on,
put a chech in the use welcome screen.
    Try that.

Oops, yeah, stitch's way is easier. For some reason, I thought the account had a password...in which case the longer, more involved method has to be used. Sorry.
