ok, i'm new here, and I'm a real big idiot. I have WinXP pro installed on my system as well as Linux, and today i decided that i would install some new software for linux, and now I cant login into windows. But let me clarify this.
I set a new password for me on WinXP about 3 weeks ago, and i havent rebooted since, but now i have forgotten the password and cannot login into Windows. I disabled the guest account or make a new account from the login screen. So now I dont have any access to my windows.
Is there anything i can do?? I love linux, but not to the point of using it everyday. as well, i dont need to hear that i'm *******. Please help me.

If you left the administrator account and created another user account for yourself, you may be able to log on using that account. Password would have been blank or administrator or similar unless you changed it when you set the system up.

Otherwise you are pretty much out of luck since the security is pretty good on these things.

If you can't otherwise get on, you can install a 2nd copy of XP and then blow away the original. You will have to reinstall all your programs but your data and such should still be there.
