log on problem

    my keyboard does not seem to work when i type my password..it just stays blank with its blinking cursor..but when i press f2 or f8 to go to safe mode the keypad works. but when I type my password nothin...what should i do now?:confused:

    When your computer starts there is a message about how to enter BIOS setup. Do so. Look for a BIOS setting that is worded something like: "Enable Legacy USB support" or similar. Enable the USB support. Enable the PS/2 support if that choice is available as well.

    That should allow you to use your keyboard at logon.
