Internet Explorer keeps blocking JavaScript pages when executed from my hard drive, (not online as web page).

When this happens you get a message that says: To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer ".

This does not happen when site is on a server, as I do a lot of development work using applets/javascript this is most annoying having to click "Allow Content" all of the time.

I have tried almost every combination of the security settings with no luck.

Check Allow active content to run in files on My Computer from Tools > Internet Options > Advanced under Security
