I have a home-based PC and a new (Toshiba) notebook computer linked together in a wireless local area network. Both systems are running current versions of Windows XP.

Although I have established working file sharing protocols and everything is working just fine, there are times when I would like to access the PC desktop display from the notebook, specifically to look at and respond to my Outlook email, without having to leave the notebook and go to the PC to do that.

Is there a way that I can do that? Do I set up a communication link through "˜Remote Desktop Connection’? And if so, how do I do that via the wireless LAN?

    I’d appreciate your advice.
