    Hi.

I'm running Microsoft IE v 6.0.2600 on a VAIO laptop, and I'm having a bit of trouble with my Link Bar. Whenever I click a saved link on the bar from a daughter window, it opens the link it the first IE window I opened, which I usually use to send e-mail, with the result that whatever I'm working on gets lost. Is there any way to get the links to open into the window from which they were clicked? Before the links system there was a "Bookmark" bar which did pretty much exactly what I wanted. Is there any way to go back to that format?

    Thanks for your time!

Try Internet Options, Advanced, "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts ".

    Thanks!

It's not precisely what I wanted, but it's good enough for me.

Somehow, it's always the serpent gods that come through for me.

    Thanks again!

Not my preferred manifestation, to be sure.

It's too bad there isn't a "Open in new window" option for these shortcuts, too.
