    Hi
I’m wondering about windows license policies.

My first PC was running Win95, this PC has been retired a long time ago. I still have the CD with win95, but the CD is damaged, and can not be used.

Same thing with my second PC, it was running Win98, it is also retired, and the WIN98 CD is damaged.

I now have a PC running WinXP. (With no problem)

The reason I’m bringing this up is that I did a good buy on a older PC at work (without OS), and want to use it in a home network together with my XP PC. The old PC is a 200 MHz MMX, and can not run XP.

I want to install Win95 or Win98 in the old PC. Can I legally download the CD’s from internet and install as I have license for the retired computers?

If yes, do You know where to download?

JoeHobert's advice is the best that can be provided here. Microsoft retains the rights of all it's software, and it is not legally available for download.
