I used to have the @ symbol when i press shift+2 on my keyboard running win 98 SE. Now with Win XP installed, this has changed to the " symbol and the @ symbol now is on a key near the Enter key.

Is there any method in which i can set back the Shift+2 to be the @ symbol, because i am finding myself typing the " symbol by mistake all the time.

    thanks

Go into Control Panel>Regional and Language Options and make sure the correct language is selected on the Regional Options tab.

Then go to the Languages tab, click on the Details button and make sure the proper selections are made there, too.
