I'm asking a question on the behalf of my friend who got a new laptop.
as far as I know it's an Dell XPS laptop and the issue he's having is...

The Input of his keyboard is severely messing up. It's not an issue for IE but for say games like Crysis and such the input is a major problem for him. He;s been able to stave the problem though by putting his phone on the control key but when it's not on it messes up alot.
ex. he cause constantly press ANY number or later and it will cycle through 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0, repeat etc.

I would call Dell and explain the problem. You say it is new so there should be no warranty issue with it. Let them fix it and check it out. Maybe other problems beside the keyboard. Has he tried an external KB to see if the same problem occurs?

Terribly sorry I've been busy and I havn't been checking my email lately >.<
But yes we did trying a external one (my friend had a wireless one and the same issues still occured. I'll tell him he should contact dell so they may check it out assuming he'll do whatever it takes to fix the problem. I'll update you when we make some more progress.

    Thanks.

Hi nikxmina, as MrBill has suggested try Dell Solution Center. Start > All Programs > Dell Solution Center.

I would think that you have corrupt keyboard drivers.

You need an Internet connection as this link goes directly to Dell. Cheers Neil.
