You've all been very helpful on my other recent probs. Now a new one. While using my cad program after setting printer properties I hit ok and I get the 'dreaded blue screen' with system is busy or unstable and have to do a c-a-d reboot. I uninstalled and re-installed my HP software and got an page fault in kernel32.dll. The printer works fine otherwise so I guess I need to re-install my cad program?

In looking back I think you need to do a re-install and get into the proper folder.

If two folder containing windows files exit. it WILL ( or at least may ) mess things up BAD . Somethngs may be using the old asn some the new.

I think you need to wipe out the NEWEST windows folder.

Rename the old back to Windows.

Run the reinstall and make sure that it uses C:\Windows
