Keep losing my POP3 Accounts

I am running ME and use outlook express. Once i have accessed Outlook Express the only way to receive e-mail or to retrieve mail is to restart each time  I have 4 accounts set up and in the accounts box it changes back to Localhost. Once i have changed the accounts back to the POP3 accounts and restarted, I can only operate outlook express once, before I have to do all this again! I have deleted Outlook express, didn't make any difference. Anyone help?

If I had to "guess" I'd guess that its your anti virus software thats changing it. Try turning email protection in your AV and see if that helps.

What is the POP addressses changing to? If it's changing to either Local Host or an IP address ( depending on what AV software you are running, with Macaffe it will usually put in an IP address and Norton or PC-cillin puts in Local Host )
Does it also put the correct POP3 address at the end of the Account Name as well e.g. joebloggs/pop.anyone.com, because this is also a common fault with AV software.
Doing as Steve said will fix this problem, however, it's always a good idea to scan your e-mails every now and then just to be on the safe side.

    I hope this helps.

Which account is set-up as the default account?

Also this may be to simple, but was wondering if you have selected

"Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing "

    in your POP3 properties?
