Resolved Java Updates

    I realize that both Windows and Adobe updates are important, but there seems to be some question about Java updates. Do we need them and if so, for what?

    Hi Annie Lori. Yes you do need Java updates. Like other software updates, updates for Java fix secuity holes and can provide new features to Java over time.

    You should install new versions of Java as they are released in order to help keep your system secure.

    Check out your System with Secunia PSI - out of date Java is always flagged.

    Many of today's exploits are not targeting Windows, but other applications like Adobe and Java. Keep these programs current and updated.
