    JRE 7 Update 15
Easiest way to get it is go to Control Panel/Java and then the Update tab.
Don't forget to take the check out of the Ask Toolbar. That is unless you want that junk.

Thanks for letting us know MrBill.

I find the easiest way for me is to verify my Java version here, then if it is not the current version which in my case it was not, that link gives me the option of downloading and installing (in this case) Java 11 update 15. I don't seem to have any success at all with JavaRa.

After I have installed the latest version, I then go to
    • Start
    • Control Panel
    • Java
    • Security
    • disable 'Java content in browser'
    • Apply
    • Okay

I am running Chrome and IE 10 as my second browser. When I open a link in Chrome that needs to use Java there is a red cross in the top right hand end of the address bar allowing me to enable Java for that link only. Just a safety issue which works well for me.

    kind regards,
