Just setup laptops 4 & 5 with Windows 8. It's growing on me and I'm beginning to like it. My favorite is they brought back the "UP" arrow in explorer.

I've had it on my laptop since the early days. It hasn't grown on me, but I can live with it. I did remove it (again) from my desktop. There's nothing appealing for me, and some things (accessing specific control panel applications for example) is more cumbersome (=slower).

As for the "Up" button, never noticed it. I use the back button, or the "bread crumb" menu to navigate.

On all the laptops so far I put the control panel icon on desktop via personalize > desktop icons.

The Thing is, --its a Touch screen interface (or the metro bit is at least), and to get the best from it , you need a touch screen.
Microsoft would have done better if they had released two versions, - the current release and a desktop only release.

I don't like Windows 8 / Metro etc. I absolutely love it!!! And I do not have a Touch Screen neither do I desire one. Next computer, if possible, will have no Touch Screen.
