Introduction

My name is Edward, and for over 20 years I have installed & worked on telephones, telephone systems, voice cabling, data (network) cabling etc... Long enough that I guess I could be called a phone man.

My 1st PC was an IBM clone, 88XT, running on DOS (DOS, what's DOS? don't know but it's gotta have it or it won't run without it).

One of my current responsibilities is to manage/maintain the small network in our office (Windows server, several desktops running XP, several laptops also running XP & XP-Pro).

Hoping to be able to find a few answers to some of the nagging problems that pop up once in a while that I can't figure out for myself.
