Is there a way to erase and disable the serch bar from keeping a history of the items I type in? I'm using Google. I'm only talking about the search bar not the address bar.

Erase - yes. Just click on the Google logo and a drop-down will offer the option.

Disable - no way that I can find.

Googles dropdown>options> "more tab" has quite a few settings that effect search behaviors. Does something here control want you want or don't, in this case?

I use google and I have no history, either "dropdown" or "stored ". I'm sure it was using this tab that disabled all that.
