I just found that I can not connect to my web site using IE R7. I get the following error message:

This error (HTTP 406 Not Acceptable) means that Internet Explorer was able to receive information from the website you visited, but the information was not in a format that Internet Explorer can display.

I have no problem connecting to this site with Mozilla Firefox and when I used IE R6 I was able to get to it. My site is running PunBB, but without even getting PunBB forums, I can not access even my basic home page at this site.

It happens with 2 of my other sites at this domain and web hosting site.

Its not a Firewall situation or a .css style problem. Several other users have reported this problem to me also. Those with earlier release of IE can get to the site without any problems. (www.rdilauro.com)

I've been looking to see if there is a IE tools setting that I need to make. But the fact that several other users are having the same problem, makes me think its IE7 related .

If this problem has arisen since you installed IE 7 I suggest you revert back to IE 6. Removing Windows Internet Explorer 7 through Add/Remove Programs rolls you back to IE 6.

    I know it's a workaround rather than a solution, but that's all I have to offer :)
