OK here's my problem. Does Windows save Internet history anywhere else but the standard locations? My Girl says she knows how to find the history even if it's been cleaned out. I don't have any thing to hide, but am curious if she knows something about Windows that I don't. Any help?

Also realize that even if History is disabled, one may still view the Temporary Internet Files dir and get an idea what sites one has visited. And the same applies to the index.dat file in that dir, it contains urls of sites.

And auto complete stores typed urls in the registry.

Only if the option to empty temp internet files on browser close is unchecked (default).

    Yes, correct.
But the index.dat in that dir never gets deleted/emptied via any Windows settings.
