Internet Explorer at Startup

    Running Windows 98 Internet Explorer always starts when the system is booted even though it is not in startup - can tou please advise how to stop this happening.

    There is probably a shortcut to IE in your startup folder. I think in Windows 98 it is located in C:\windows\StartMenu\Programs\Startup.

    You may also have a shortcut to that folder in your programs list under start, programs.

    If there is a shortcut to IE in that folder delete it and reboot.
