internet explorer 5.0

    I have explorer 5.00.2614.3500 after format and reinstalling win98,I've been trying to update to explorer 6.0 useing all methods (win update,c-net,ect.) the browser & tools & a few other things wont install. please can someone help me?
    no error messages ,it just sez the following didnt install

    What happens when you try to install it? Any error messages? Need a little more info. :)
