Internet Disconnection Problem

Hi,

I have a problem for last few weeks with my internet. It gets diconnected every few hours and I cannot go to any web page. Also, my messenger and skype gets disconnected. I have windows vista home premium and have all the updated drivers for network card. I think there is a problem with my computer and not with modem as my VOIP phone never gets diconnected and is always on. After disconnection, I have to reboot the computer to get the connection back or just wait and it comes back after 5-10 minutes. Any help will be appreciated.

if its an online network card try adding in a pci
also try a router to make the connection as opposed to direct especially if you have DSL as opposed to cable broadband

 

I have tried the above but still have the same problem. I am using NVIDIA GFORCE network with windows Vista Home premium. Any other solutions?
