I am looking for software to install on some workstations to block solcial networking sites and **** ect. a program that blocks by catagory would be great. The computers that are restricted should only be able to access med based software (billing, insurance, software updates, off site backup, etc.)
    No. internet surfing.

    Thanks gringoyle

    Any known free bee's?

I used Google as well, found several programs that will work I think.
Also any one that has experience with some of these programs have a ya or nay list of the good and bad programs for this type of software?

I doubt that freebies can be used commercially, which is what your initial post implies.

Have you looked at IE8's content controls?

    Yes, your right

and yes I have but only a little so far, I'm trying to find some PICSRules that are down loadable so I can import them, but I seem to only find info about the purpose of RICSRules or mission statements about keeping internet surfing safer. Looks like i can use the one built in to IE8 and as my custom list is tweaked i can than just move it to the other PC's, pretty useful so far and no cost to the company:D
