Running W2K in an IPX Novell environment. Novell client is 4.83. Recently have been noticing that the Internal Network Number is being populated on some workstations by something. This is causing the workstation to act as a type of router causing other workstations to resolve through it.
Novell say that this number is a manually entered number but I know our users would neither know where this setting is nor indeed know what to enter into it (not 100% sure myself).
Do you know of anything that may populate this field eg an application install? Cross referencing some of these workstations is not providing any results.

    Any thoughts?

Have you applied the Service Pack that is available for 4.83 Client ?

Other than that I'm at a loss...
