Resolved Intermittant connection

Hi folks - my husband's laptop has had issues with our wireless connection from day 1. If he uses it anywhere else he has no problem but the minute he connects to our sytem it becomes sporatic. Sometimes he has a good connection other times not (more times not - very slow.) Other people have used their laptops at our house and they have no problem at all. It is just my husband's computer that is the issue.

We have high speed connection, I have XP on the main computer and he has VISTA on his Gateway laptop. We have a "RangeMAX Next Wireless-N Router. As you can tell from my question I'n not very savvy about all this stuff so please answer in layman's terms.

Problem resolved. We cleared off all networking info and reinstalled Netgear - seems to be working fine now.
