In my BIOS, I can enable Intel Virtualization Technology, and when I did a while back, it came up with an error message, so I turned it back off. What exactly is Intel VT, and what are the benefits of it? Do you guys use it, and if so, for what? If not, why not? Inquiring minds want to know...;)

    Thanks...

Hi, read Intel® Virtualization Technology. I can't explain it better ;)

No, I don't use it, my dektop is an AMD. If you run virtual machines it can have its use, if not, there's no point.

Correct... I do use VMC's a lot, but I've got an AMD Athlon on my desktop (from the time that AMD was king :) ), and on my Intel powered laptop there's no such option in the (Dell) BIOS.
