I am having problems trying to load a game on Windows XP Media Center. NOTE: only happens on Media Center PC's and not the regular XP machines.

You put the CD in and it auto runs.
    You click on Install
The Installshield splashes across the screen and then..... nothing.

Anti-climatic I know. I exited all background programs using the Windows Taskmanager's Process tab. I leave only Explorer.exe and Taskmgr.exe left with my name by them but alas it still will not load. Not from autorun and not using D:\setup.exe on the run command.

    Any ideas?

This MS Knowledgebase Article does not directly address your problem, but I wonder if it has a bearing.

If you haven't done so I suggest you run Windows Update.

Thank you Pete! I did not see that on the Knowledge base. Your definately better than I am about being able to find things :)

I will give this a try and let you know. Definately an interesting statement about "contact the manufacturer if this doesn't work as they are the one that built the dang thing! ".

Again, I apreciate the help and will let you know.
