Installing Win98

    Well 2 days before Xmas computer crashes Formatted HD with Maxtor Maxblast 3 but can't install win98 from cd. Dell computer Pent II 350mhz 8gb hd running win98 and no I do not want to upgrade to a newer computer or a newer system. I do not play games or download music!! I use my computer for home business; Anybody help with walking me through setup?? and what I need to do?? thanks

    When you say you cannot install right from the 98 CD did you check to make sure your system is set to boot from the CD? Also have you tried using a 98 startup floppy disk to install windows?
