    Hi all,

We have an audio storage system that is offline, it's used in for our radio stations on a closed circuit network. This presents a problem in getting updates for XP through Windows Update. Seems I remember that MS offers network installations for a lot of larger packages (SP3, etc...) do any of you know if the same network installation service is offered for all or even just security updates? If so please post the url, it would be much appreciated.

My web searches didn't turn up anything fruitful other than the afore mentioned larger packages.

    Thanks!

    Yes 2 offline updaters.

    Have used them for years.

    They both work fantasticly!

    CtUpdate http://www.heise.de/ct/projekte/offlineupdate/download_uk.shtml
Chose OS and language if needed. Builds an ISO ready to burn.

AutoPatcher: this was stopped from a while by M$ because of they were bundling MS updates into their own program.

Now AutoPatcher now downloads directlty from M$. Run APUP it gets the updates and then run Autopatcher it installs them.

Autopatcher also has some good Extras and Addons..

Note: Just like Win Update there may be updates to updates so you need to make more than 1 pass untill both of the above tell you there are no more updates.

Let me know what you think!

Good I noticed I forgot to leave a link but it should have been easy to find.

    http://www.autopatcher.com/

If you have many computers, I have noticed that both can miss or find updates the other does not, quite often.

Like some of the temp and reg scanners one is usually not enough.

I use them both! On the same machine to confirm each other.
