    Help ! !

After visiting several forums I am now completely confused about which installs are possible for an upgrade version. Is there an MVP in the house?

I have XP Home 32 bits running on an Athlon 64 bit system. I have a clean partition waiting for Vista Home Premium. Can I (a) Upgrade the installed 32 bit XP using a 64 bit Vista DVD?
Or - (b) Do a clean install of a 64 bit Vista on the prepared partition?
    Or - (c) Must I buy a 32 bit Vista?

There are many more questions floating around than there are answers at the moment, and any expert advice will be gratefully accepted.

    Roger:confused:

XP 64bit required a clean install. Going to guess Vista will be the same.
