I look after some PCs at a computer club and have remote access to them using LogMeIn free.
I would like to install Office 2010 on them and was wondering if it is possible to do this remotely?

I was thinking that I could make an iso from the Microsoft DVD, upload it to my webspace and then download the iso onto each machine. I could then mount the iso and install the software.

Is this technically possible? Is there an easier way of doing it?
I will of course have valid licences.

You advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I've done basically that a couple of times.

Once I just copied the dvd to my drive and then to the target drive.

Another time I received the ISO directly from MS.

Time isn't a problem for me, it's better than driving miles to do it with a DVD.
I was just looking for the easiest way to do it remotely.

@hill47 - I`ve just started using Logmein myself and am still in the trial using the HD version so have not seen the standard `free` version running yet, - How do you find it? is there a big difference in display quality?

Edit:- Sorry -Didn`t mean to hijack the thread - just didn`t think...

I don't know anything about the HD version, but I have been using LogMeIn free for a few years and found it perfectly adequate to maintaining remote PCs. The image quality is quite good but can't be more specific.

That will do for me - As long as I know its Not fundamentally different to the HD version.
I have to say that the HD version IS very good though When in Full screen the image is as good as if you had your monitor plugged into the machine, the only tell-tale is the slight lag in mouse and keyboard input.
    Thanks for responding!
