Instaling Windows xp

    Could anyone tell me how to install windows xp home edition disk from scratch as my lap top crashed

    Well i had no luck installing windows the only way i know how is to start in pressing f2 and trying to do it with the command start from cd rom wich aint no good

    I s there away to do it fron the screen of death lol when pressing f12 and getting the Bios screen up

    Media Player

    I also have a problem on this laptop,when i go to look at any thing on my media player it completely covers the screen with no media player buttons showing and when i press esc; nothing happens the only way to get it off is to turn the laptop on the start button that you turn the computer on

    Is there any way of setting it so i can watch thing on my media player
