incredimail assistance please

Rebuilt a machine using incredimail was able to export the address book into a .csv file and reimporting after machine rebuilt. Did not know however that the message needed to be exported first. So what I now have are the message from the old system that I need to bring into the new system. Is there a way for incredimail to re-recognize the .imm and imh files ???

 

Don't know if this is what you mean, but I recently had to reload incredimail and in order to get my old messages back into it, I clicked on Incredimail's File> Import>Messages>(from)Incredimail. I browsed for the folder Windows\ ApplicationData\ IM\ Identities. Then select which type of incredimail folder to import (inbox, etc).

 

Yep, thats what I thought to but when I do the import I do not get an option for Incredimail mail. Get it for O.E., netscape mail, etc but not for incredimail.

Any thoughts.

 

You might try clicking one of those that you don't use. If I do that, I get the blank which lets you browse for any folder you want.

 

All is well had to uninstall then reinstall and now for whatever reason it gave me the option to import incredimail mail. So client will be happy.
