    Hi, how is ya's?

Can I just say i'm an absoloute beginner with this sort of stuff, but would like to be able to learn how to fix this problem, with a bit (ok, lots) of help from this forum...

Yesterday my computer gave me a warnng I had a malware virus, it's telling me windows has detected spyware activity and I should perform full systems scan. I used to run Norton until about 2 months ago when i had to renew subscription, I ended up downloading a free version of AVG, (maybe that was my problem). Then after the attack y'day I purchased norton 360 version 2. Did a scan with that and it didn't pick anything up. At this point I got a message saying it was Zlob.****.Ad. I googled this and read a few topics, downloaded a product called Malwareremovalbot, this didn't help. Other messages I am getting include, wndows telling me I have extra antivirus software and in a littlp pop up window Spyware.IEPass.theif.

    Any help would be great,
    thanks
    dazza

    Welcome to WindowsBBS dazzah :)

Please download DDS and save it to your desktop.
    • Disable any script blocking protection
    • Double click dds.scr to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt
    • Save both reports to your desktop.

Please include the contents of the following in your next reply:

    DDS.txt

I may ask for the Attach.txt log later, so keep it handy.
