I've an older computer from which I copied my bookmarks file from Firefox (on a cd). I'd like to copy (import?) it to my current Firefox browser on my new computer. Exactly where do I copy this file?

Also, I copied my old address book in T-bird on that old computer to a cd and I'd like to copy it to T-bird on the new computer. Exactly where do I copy this file? Thanks.

    James ...

Copy the bookmarks.html and bookmarks.bak files to your new Firefox profile folder, and the abook.mab file to your Tbird profile folder. That should do it!

Oh boy... I'm done in I guess. All I copied before reformatting the old computer was the abook.mab. Well.... my wife still has a chance to do it right with your directions. Thanks a lot.

Hmmm, all you really need is the bookmarks.html file. Firefox will create the .bak file when you add to, or edit, the bookmarks.
