I keep getting the error message "Iexplore has caused an error in <unknown> Iexplore will now close. If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer. This happens only in some of the msn groups I belong to. I have used adawre and spybot, run virus checks, scandisk etc but nothing seems to work. Can any one please help?

Dump all your temp files, temp internet files, and cookies.

Go to add/remove programs, select IE, and one of your options should be to run a repair. Do that.

Try going via the start, programs, accessories, system tools, system info. Then tools, see if the option to repair is there.

Internet Explorer Q824145 is an update/patch rather than the program itself. There won't be any options with that other than removal.

I really am confused by the main program not being in add/remove though. I haven't worked much with ME but I would certainly expect to see it.

If you just can't find the thing, consider removing what you have and reinstalling a fresh copy. From CD if you have it. Otherwise, download the thing and install from your PC rather than trying an over-the-internet install.
