IE6 Privacy Tab Disappears

I have Win98SE and just started using IE6.0. Just about the time I decided I liked the privacy feature, being able to set up what cookies I want to always allow or never allow, etc, the Privacy Tab under Internet Options disappears. I download IE6 again & save it to the Desktop so I'll have it if I need it later. After I run Setup and re-install the IE6 browser, the Privacy tab comes back. After a day or two, it disappears again. I really hate reinstalling the program every few days. I tried Microsoft's "Support" page, the knowledge base, etc but as usual that was no help. Does anyone know what's going on here ?

That's a strange one. Outdated or incorrect display drivers have been know to cause something like this. If I recall, there is a setting in Win9x where you can adjust graphics accelleration. Sorry, I don't remember where.
