Could someone please tell me the name of the add-on or extension to be used with FF to display pages written for IE6 or 7? Thanking you in advance!
Does this add-on work well or are there problems?
Will this add-on work for IE7 as well?

    Hi Bob,

A couple of others are IE View (scroll down ... it's next to last on the page) and Launchy (also works with TB).

    Jim and BMoore,
With your help I have found the following 4 possibilities.
    IE Tab
    Ie View
    IE View Lite
    Launchy
I would use this add-on for loading pages which do not work with FF or SeaMonkey, or to check a webpage that I installed to see how it looks in IE.
Do either of you have a suggestion as to which of these would be best for me and the ease of use?

    Hi Bob,

I have experience with only IE View and Launchy. Truthfully, I'm somewhat amused that an IE View Lite extension even exists, since IE View, itself, is quite small (62KB). IE View is simplicity, itself ... right-click on a page and select "View This Page in IE" from the context menu. The page opens in an IE window, while remaining open in FF. I would think that IE View Lite works in much the same way, except that I couldn't get it to work.

Launchy is even smaller, at 29KB. With it, you can place an icon on your toolbar; when you want to view a page in IE (or almost any other browser you may have installed) click on the icon and select the desired browser from the drop-down menu.

I've used both, and they both work well. The obvious answer is to try them yourself, and see which one you feel most comfortable with.

IE Tab works for me. I do all my Windows updates with it.
There were some problems which caused FF to crash, but they have been taken care. v.1.2 was released today.
