IE icons missing

    For some reason or other, the icons on my IE 6 browser have disappeared, e.g. the house-shaped icon representing 'Home' and the other ones representing 'History' and 'Search', etc., also. Does anyone know how I can get them back? Many thanks.

    In IE click view>toolbars>standard buttons.

    The 'Standard Buttons' and 'Address Bar' are both checked but the icons I mentioned are still missing. Curious....

    I've just now accessed a site (windowsxp.mvps.org) and chose 'IE Toolbar Reset Position - fixes the IE toolbar'. When I rebooted all my icons returned. Now the address bar is missing despite checking it in 'View>Toolbars>Address bar. Hmm.....

    Aha! I've just dragged down the line just below the toolbar and revealed the address bar. I'm fully functioning again! :)
