IE Explorer

I have just down the windows up dates to my computer for win98Se and of course it downloaded the new IE Explorer. Since installing it I can`t get into any web pages anyones that are listed in an answer to a question which tells me to look there I just get this page that comes up with all these things written on it tells me my web page isn`t available. I am kind of tired of this happening so what can I do . The latest fix for outlook did fix my E mail but sure didn`t the explorer.

Are you talking about the I.E 6 S.P.1? Or the cumulative patch for O.E for people who already have I.E. 6 S.P.1? Yes this patch was to fix problems with O.E in version 6 S.P.1 I haven't had any problems with the patch so far. What kind of problems are you having? Always web page unavailable?

Thanks for all the advice. I seem to have it working now not sure just what made it work but tried different things and it seems ok. Was thinking maybe it was something to do with security but guess not.
I did do the repair in Internet Explorer. It is the latest patch and thre reason I downloaded it was because if I got an E mail that I had to got to a web for it wouldn`t work and this patch was supposed to fix that it did so now I guess I have no complaints with that part anyway.

By the way is their anyway I can download the latest Internet Explore which is 6.0 Update version SP1. I would like to be able to copy it onto a disk so when I do my format won`t have to download it again or is that not possible.
