    Internet Explorer 9 Beta...

    What's the word so far?

Should I download and try it yet? I usually let you PROFESSIONALS get it worked out before jumping in...better safe and all that???

Do not install it on a mission critical machine;) (this holds true for most BETA softwares)

I'll be waiting a couple months after the final release to install it on machines that I can't afford to re-format.

Installation of an Win 7 update KB2454826 is a requirement for installing IE9. I have heard a lot of horror stories about this update. Is it safe to install ?

    I have had no issues on 3 installs of SP1 - x64 & x86, & IE9 - KB2454826 was installed back in February.

Yup, just a matter of chance I guess.

Anyway, since I use FF I plan to put off IE9 installation for a couple of weeks & see how things pan out.
