   Can anyone help please?
   
   When trying to download a file I get the following error;
   
   Content is not scanned for virus due to error or constraint (code 65458), and is dropped.
   
   Does anyone have an idea what this could be?
   
   WinXP Pro Sp1 all updates installed except SP2

   This sounds more like a problem with your antivirus software than with IE.
   
   You might try adding the download site to the Trusted Zone. if only temporarily.
